Therapy guided by compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.
"The greatest sources of our suffering are the lies we tell ourselves." - Dr. Elvin Semrad
I have been a clinical social worker for 15 years supporting clients in jails, courtrooms, hospitals, primary care clinics, emergency rooms, and private practice. The breadth of my practice has shown me that people want to experience peace, feel self-worth, and have meaningful connections. These desires are not unique but are the bricks that pave the pathway to healing and connecting with our best selves. Navigating the healing journey to true self-discovery is unique to each person. Thus, there is no one size fits all method to counseling.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and based on the fundamental belief that through empathic listening, authenticity, empowerment, and mindful insight we can move towards healing and a sense of fulfillment.
